Founded in 1998, Noblemen began with a focus on residential cabinets and kitchens. Over the years, we’ve expanded into retail and corporate markets, all while maintaining our commitment to quality and client-focused service. Operating in Gauteng, we specialize in creating spaces that are functional, elegant, and tailored to our clients’ needs.

Henk Jonkers
Partner | Design & Client Relations
Working for the Company
- Henk describes the work environment as dynamic, with each job being different from the last. He finds great satisfaction in client satisfaction and positive feedback.
Career Background
- Henk has been involved in the wood sector since 1980, after emigrating from the Netherlands to South Africa. His first job in South Africa was with South African organ builders as a cabinet maker. One of his most notable projects was in the Union Buildings for PW Botha in the 1980s, where he crafted office furniture. In 2000, Henk officially registered a corporation and developed it into a full-scale business.
Favourite Project
- Henk’s favourite project was the Pretoria Country Club Bar, a special and exclusive project for the club members. Another standout project was for Eskom, overseeing the construction of 53 houses per month – a remarkable feat of logistical coordination.
Martin Sliep

- Martin describes the work environment as very challenging and dynamic.
Career Background
- Martin’s love for wood began in 1991 at Jolize Furniture Manufacturers in Rosslyn. He started as a worker and worked his way up to production manager, earning certificates in cabinet making and furniture making. In 2002, he started his own business after working with his father for two years. Martin also gained overseas experience in England as a cabinet maker.
Favourite Project
- Martin’s favourite project was the Waterkloof Guesthouse, his first major project where he crafted everything from solid kiat of wood. He also enjoyed installing 29 kitchens at the South African Police Service headquarters in Pretoria.

Working for the Company
- Lodewyk started working for the company as a student during his years of study. He admired the products that were designed, built, and delivered according to the clients’ needs, providing a sense of satisfaction and something to be proud of. The craftsmanship and dedication of the team are what make the company successful.
Career Background
- Lodewyk has been involved with the company since 2006. With a Quantity Surveying degree and background, he has taken ownership of all commercial tenders and contractual matters.
Favourite Project
- Lodewyk’s favourite project was the Cure Day Clinic commission, which serves the health sector of South Africa as “the best day care in one day.” Not only was this an iconic project, but it also serves the healthcare system for all South Africans.
